I'm currently in my fifth year of teaching and being involved with Early Years. My classes have all been mixed Reception/Year 1 classes, but I've been really enjoying working with the children at preschool during my supply teaching period. In September I will be starting a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy which I am really looking forward to! When I'm not teaching or studying, I like to be outdoors - whether that's walking my dog, Reggie or playing football. 

I ran my own café for 10 years, prior to starting as an apprentice at St Michael's Pre-school. Both of my children attended the Pre-school and I was also a member of the management committee. I've always wanted to work in childcare, so felt very fortunate to be given the chance to study towards a professional qualification, working with local children, in a setting I know so well. I love spending time with my children and family, as well as gardening and caring for our multiple animals!​

I started as an Early Years Apprentice at St Michael’s in 2024, qualifying as a Level 3 Early Years Educator in September 2026. I look forward to watching the children grow and learn at Pre-school, whilst being a part of what they achieve, with guidance and support. In my spare time I like to play netball, keep active and spend time with family and close ones.

I qualified as an Early Years Practitioner in September 2025 after completing an apprenticeship at St Michael's Pre-school.. Seeing young children flourish and grow is a wonderful experience and I love to be a part of their journey, I am a mummy to two children whom I enjoy doing arts and crafts with, having outside adventures and taking our little Frenchie dog Roxy for a walk.

Prior to working at St Michael's Pre-school, I worked for the NHS School Nursing & Health visiting teams for over 14 years.  I have 3 boys who have all attended St Michaels Pre school & I was also a part of the committee for 5 years. I've always wanted to work in Early Years, so to be part of this great pre-school & gain a qualification a long the way is amazing. It is so lovely to be part of a child's learning journey & watch them thrive. My favourite thing to do is spend time with my family & friends. I also like to bake & get outside as much I can. 

I have recently started an Early Years apprenticeship at St Michael's Pre-school which I am thoroughly enjoying. I have experience working with children through teaching in my Sunday school every Sunday, which has helped grow my passion for supporting young children as they learn and develop. It has been incredibly rewarding to watch the children gain confidence, develop new skills, and grow every day. I have really enjoyed joining the Early Years team at St Michael’s, as it is such a warm, welcoming, and positive environment to work in. ​

I was previously a researcher at a business organisation in Westminster, but after a career break, decided to retrain as as Early Years Practitioner. I started working at St Michael's Preschool in 2023 & gained my Level 2 qualification in July 2024. I love seeing children's natural curiosity & seeing their perseverance pay off to develop new skills. I live locally with my family & enjoy spending my free time with family

& friends, gardening & being outdoors.

I have a special connection to the pre-school as both of my children attended here and I was a member of the committee during that time. I love getting to know each child’s unique personality, building strong bonds and helping them grow in confidence through fun, play and learning. I’m a real outdoor enthusiast and happiest when I’m surrounded by nature and animals! When I’m not at pre-school, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, walking our dog, looking after ponies, catching up with friends or off exploring somewhere new.

I have been working at St Michael's since 2019 & deal with admissions, funding & all other administration. I live locally with my family and both of my children have attended the pre-school and the primary school next door. Being able to work locally, seeing familiar, friendly faces from the community & watching little ones joining the Pre-school & then move on to 'big school' is a privilege! I love being with my family  and we're often in the local woods walking our dog, watching my eldest play football or spending time with family.​
